Unlike biscuits that just "rub" the surface, Kelp works systemically. Once eaten, it changes the chemical composition of your pet's saliva. It releases a natural enzyme that breaks down the sticky bacterial film (biofilm) that causes plaque. It literally melts the "glue" that holds tartar to the teeth!
Many of our customers find they no longer need to struggle with a toothbrush! Kelp is designed to do the heavy lifting by softening tartar so it falls off during play or chewing. Daily consistency is key.
We use 100% Organic Ascophyllum Nodosum, sustainably harvested from the cold, nutrient-rich waters of the North Atlantic. It’s processed in our registered UK facility to ensure it’s free from heavy metals.
