The heart of My Bear Pet Care began long before the brand existed — in childhood fields, muddy boots, and the unconditional love of animals who shaped two lives long before they ever met.
🐾 A Childhood Rooted in Animals
Nikki grew up on a busy working farm, surrounded by animals of every size and temperament. From hand‑rearing ducklings to caring for guinea fowl, chickens, and turkeys, she learned early that every creature deserves kindness, patience, and a full belly.
The fields were home to ponies, a donkey, and cattle, while the so‑called "farm cats" inevitably preferred the warmth of the house. And always, there were the dogs—Nikki's first teachers in loyalty, empathy, and the quiet magic of companionship.
🐶 Matt's Lifelong Bond
Matt's childhood was shaped by two beloved dogs, Becky and Chloe, who sparked his lifelong devotion to animals. Later came Sadie and Sheera, and the bond never faded.
When Matt met Nikki, their shared love for animals was instant. Combined with Nikki's background in nutritional formulations and our 17 years running a supplements company since 2008, the foundation was set for something special.
🐕 Bizzi — The Dog Who Started It All
Lola, their first Labrador, arrived with elegance and affection. A year later, Bisto Bear (Bizzi) joined the family—independent, stubborn, and fiercely loyal.
At six years old, a tragic accident left Bizzi with dislocated legs. Through months of recovery, the bond between Matt and Bizzi became unbreakable. She lived a full, happy life until, at 12, she was diagnosed with Cushing's disease.
Drawing on our 17 years of supplements expertise, Nikki formulated specialized natural nutrition to support Bizzi's comfort. Bizzi's journey changed everything — and My Bear Pet Care was born.
